Moses O. (possibly Oliver) Ratliff is believed to have been born in OH, 30 Jan. 1831 (Athens CO?). He married Sarah Golliver in Van Wert CO, OH in 1845. From this marriage came 5 children (Sarah, John, Rosanna, Sylvester and Josephine). Sarah Golliver Ratliff died prior to 1860 and Moses remarries to Mary Ann Huffman Harris in April of 1860 in Putnam CO, OH. Mary had 7 children from her previous marriage to John Harris (William, Marchus, Mary, George, Shelby, Lavina and Daniel) and 3 children from her marriage to Moses (Moses Oliver, Minerva and Granville). Moses is as far back as I can trace my Ratliff line. I would appreciate any information on his ancestors. Moses apparently moved around quite a bit. Was reported to have been in Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska and is buried in OH. Is said to have had a brother in Illinois. I am also interested in determining the fate of Moses' daughter Josephine.
