Am very interested to learn where the settlement(s) were on the south branch of the Potomac in the mid 1700's. William and John Radcliff, who went with the Pringle brothers, et al, to the Hacker's Creek, W.Va. area as hunters in the 1760's, supposedly left from a settlement on the South Branch.
