Barry, I agree with you. One never knows what connection there may be with another line. Our Luke Ratliff falls into all this someplace. As all of us know, we each have a father and mother. Why Luke is such a mystery is beyond me. Where does the answer lie? Will we ever find out who our Luke Ratliff really is? Or maybe we are searching incorrectly, perhaps we should be searching for Redden Luke Ratliff. Although, I have searched somewhat with the Redden name I haven't come up with anything, I am not even sure that Lukes first name was Redden. Mysteries, mysteries don't you just love them? Have you looked in Chambers County, AL for anything on the Ratliffs? I understand that is where Luke was born. I haven't found anything there on the limited searching I have done.
