Hi Everyone, Here is a situation which I'm hoping someone out there might have some insight into and help me on this. Here goes, My Gr-grandmother Loucinda RATCLIFF (some say maiden name is PERKINS) (b. Oct 1862 d. Nov 1945) had several children before she married my Gr-grandfather George W. PACK (b. Dec 1859 d. 1941) in January 1894. I find that her obit lists these children: Pearlie and Cora (deceased), Bantain RATLIFF, G. C. Conway, Mrs. Jess CHAFFINS, and Harrison PACK. Do you know anything about any of these children? The only one I have any info on is Lula PERKINS/CAMPBELL and my grandfather Harrison PACK. Young Funeral Home records for Lula Chaffin do NOT list a father but lists Lucinda Perkins as her mother's maiden name. Funeral Home Record for Jesse CHAFFIN gives his wife as Lula CAMPBELL Chaffin. I know she has a son named Adrian CAMPBELL. Was Lula's maiden name PERKINS or CAMPBELL, or what? I haven't found any marriage documents for Loucinda except when she married George Pack. And I haven't found any other marriages for Lula except to Jesse Chaffin. Do you have some insight on either of these women and their children? Thanks so much!! Beverly L.
