I'm new to this group and I see a book was printed recently that may be of some help to some of you. It is "Some Descendants of John Ratliff & Charlotte White 1765-1997. John Ratliff is first mentioned in Russell Co, VA tax records of 1787 although he was born in Augusta Co, VA.
