I am searching for Joshua Ratliff b. abt. 1818 in Mississippi. His wife was born in Alabama, I do not know her name, yet. I believe that they had the following children: Wesley Whitfield b. 1844, Sam, Jess and Martha. They may have had more children. I do know that Wesley was born in Mississippi. Wesley's wife Mary was born in Alabama and so were both her parents. Wesley and his wife Mary had the following children: Leroy b. 1871, Beatrice E., Jessie C., Lucille, Joseph M., James William, Reagan and Clay. Most, if not all of Wesley and Mary's children were born in Texas, probably in Houston County. I am hoping someone out there will be able to shed some light on a few of these Ratliff's!
