He was born in Pittsylvania Co., VA, the son of Benjamin Ratliff and Sarah Ferguson. Benjamin was probably born in Talbot Co., MD and died in Pittsylvania Co, VA about 1818. Does anyone know of a connection between the "Ratliff" family and the "Pendleton" family? Any help appreciated.
