I'm interested in Elizabeth Ratcliff who married George Steel/e, 1745-1781. They lived at least part of their lives in the Russell/Tazewell, VA area, but I'm not sure where they came from. I understand they had two sons, Ralph and George, Jr. - and possibly a third, Richard. The original information given to me was that George was married twice, first to a Frances Fannin, then to the above referenced Elizabeth. I have since been informed that Elizabeth was his only wife.
