I am looking for information on Sarah Rat(c)liff born 1634 in Isle of Wight County, VA died there in 1687. She married John Copeland who was born in 1616 in Dolphin Leigh, England he died in 1682, he was possibly the son of Lawrence Copeland. John came to the Colonies in 1635 on the ship Assurance. In all likelihood they were Quakers They had issue: 1. John Nicholas (some historians say, John some say Nicholas, so for the time being I have listed both names) born 1652 in Isle of Wight County, VA (here after referred to as IOW), died abt 1712. He married Elizabeth Taberer abt 1676 in the Quaker Church 2. Joseph born abt 1654 IOW married Mary? 3. Sarah born abt 1657 in IOW died 1725 married Daniel Sanbourne 4. Hannah married Cornelius Outland March 5, 1674/75 In Chuckatuck, VA 5. William he married Mary? This is all I know about Sarah and her family, can you help?
