Very little information to relate but I'm looking for the family of John Thomas Ratcliffe from around the Mason Co. area of KY. He married a Mary Burns who died around the early 1870's. They had one daughter named Bettie Wilson Ratcliffe born August 25, 1868 in Union Mills, Fleming Co., KY. John Thomas would remarry and father another child but died in Chicago, IL in either the late 1800's or early 1900's. I'm interested in Elizabeth Ratcliff who married George Steel/e, 1745-1781. They lived at least part of their lives in the Russell/Tazewell, VA area, but I'm not sure where they came from. I understand they had two sons, Ralph and George, Jr. - and possibly a third, Richard.
