    2. To Mike Ratliff, Yes, my Wm is the Wm Ratliff in Robert Ratliff's will. This Ratliff line took agreat deal of genealogical searching to document. I don't know Nancy"s maiden name but I know she remarried after Robert died and m. Frances Powell. I would love to have info about your Samuel Ratliff. I have a friend doing research on a Samuel Ratliff. WM., Samuel. Richard, & John are very popular names with the Ratliffs. I've researched more Wm. Ratliffs only to find they were not my line. Mike, please email me if you need my snail address. Ruth in Tex

    2. Your William appears to be a brother of our Samuel, were his parents Robert and Nancy Ratliff of Lincolnton,Lincoln Co.Ga.?I show him listed in a will dated Dec. 18.1802 and later with brother James selling 50 acres along Soap Creek to his other brother Thomas in Oct 16.1807 after their father had died.I don't have much on him after that, this is one of the brothers we didn't know much about until i saw your note. Do you have any info on Robert or any of the other brothers Thomas,Richard,Samuel,James or Hezekiah?Let me know if you would like a copy of our line through Samuel.-regards-Mike Ratliff

    2. Well - I didn't see your names in the index. The book I have concentrates on the early Virginia and North Carolina lines. However, it does take the line for Jabez Perkins into Knox County and Whitley County, Kentucky. That is my connection - Whitley County. You might want to check into this particular line - Jabez was in Kentucky by 1813. Some of his line was in Rockholds, Ky. also. Jan

Jesse and Fred stayed in Alberta but their parents went back to where they came from, Wisconsin we think. I have them on the 1901 Alberta census and can't find any further mention of them. Can you help me? Thanks, Gary Radcliffe
