HAVE any of you UK RANSOMS run across PETER RANSOM (1615-1662/63 and his wife ANN SEYMOUR IN England before he emigrated to AMERICA? PETER is probably the ancestor of most of the American RANSOMS, at least those who went from Va, south and west....and some went north ....I think. Anyhow, I believe he is the earliest RANSOM on whom we have records I believe. It would be very nice to be able to document his family before he came to America.
