Hi Ransom List, Looking for information on this family. Willard (aka William) P. RANSON, born 1816 in Chautauqua Co., New York and married Phebe Jane ?DEVEREUX? about 1839. Phebe died 23 Jan 1875 in Canton, Lewis Missouri. Willard was living with his daughter in MO in the 1880 census. Children: 1) Augustus M., born Jul 1840, in Chauauqu Co, NY, md Balsora "Ballie" ?? about 1864 in MO. three children: Addie, William and Augustus. lived in MO. 2) Lewis L. G., born Jul 1840, in Chauauqu Co, NY 3) Frank D., born Sep 1850 in Beaver, Pennsylvania, md Nannie May ??? about 1875. Four children: Elizabeth, Jennie, Peachie and Galen. Lived in MO. 4) Antha Cordelia, born 17 Sep 1856, Canton Lewis, MO, md Charles Harry Humphery (or Umphrey) 15 June 1873 in Canton Lewis MO. Eight children. This family move to CA about 1889-1890.
