I am looking for info on a Louise L. Ransom, a Quaker by birth, who was received into the Church of Truth, 5th Ave, NYC by Dr. Grier on 6/9/26. I have a very unusual photo album dedicated to Dr. Grier and put together by Mrs. Ransom, who lived from the mid-late 1800's to at least the 1930's and was widowed in 1909. The album is of Mrs. Ransom's travels around the world and in addition to post cards and photgraphs, contains many written passages by her. It consists of >100 post cards and photographs (?stereoptician views) of her in each area's garb and multiple inscriptions. The only other info from the album that I can give you is: > A 7 page poetic entry about her learning to ride a bicycle, with "Clifton Springs Sanitarium, NY 1916" written on top. > A 4 page poetic note to Dr. Grier, dated June 6, 1926 and which mentions her being a Quaker and being received into the Church of Truth, NYC on 6-9-26. > Stationery from "Hotel Bretton Hall, NYC" dated '1926-1936' on top with a poetic entry about a sweetheart. > An announcement stating that on 5/21/33, at the Church of Truth, Suite 1129, 521 Fifth Avenue, NYC, Louise was giving a "talk illustrated with 75 splendid stereoptican views" of the Oberammergau Passion Play and "will wear the costume, which is worn at Oberammergau.
