She is believed to have been born in VA and he came from Monmouth Cty, NJ as a child with his parents and several siblings. They are my 3 gparents. Does anyone have documentation that she is in fact a daughter of Ambrose RANSON, and Fleming RANSON. Ambrose was an Associate Judge in Miami Township, Clermont Cty from 1803 to 1810. He sold land in Milford on 25 June 1807. He got a land patent in 1813 with a warrant from the estate of Major William Mosely, through the executrix, the widow Ann, for 428.5 acres. I need documentation on Betsey, in addition to the marriage certificate, to complete an application to the DAR. Any help with Betsey's parents, siblings, etc., will be greatly appreciated.
