Mary Griffin wife of Samuel Billingsley was said to be a full blooded Cherokee. I descend from this line through Jeptha and Miriam Randolph. I have just learned of the Indian blood and would appreciate hearing from you about any documentation, Indian cards, etc that are available. I have a 21 year old who wants to attend a major college and have heard that they offer scholorships if you are part Cherokee.
