Hi, I just subscribed to the list. I have finally documented a connection to the Randolph family. I am searching for: Robert Randolph, from the 1850 census, I estimate he was born about 1787, in Virginia. He married Elizabeth Davis and they moved to somewhere in Tennessee. By 1835, the family was living in Callaway County, Missouri. Robert died in 1860, his will lists the following children: Robert D. Randolph birth est 1813 - listed in 1850 census is Callaway County, MO Eleanor Bigbee (not found in Callaway County) Richard Randolph (not found in Callaway County) William Randolph (not found in Callaway County) Thomas Randolph (not found in Callaway County) Catherine Nevins (Catherine Randolph married Thomas Nevins 26 Sept 1835 in Callaway County) Jane Randolph (Jane married Edmund Pemberton then Samuel Blount) Harriett Randolph (listed with parents Robert and Elizabeth in 1850, no marriage found) Eliza Carrington (Eliza Randolph married John Carrington 21 Dec 1837 in Callaway County, she died before 1860. Robert mentions her children in his will. So... my question, is anyone else researching this family? Where in Virginia were they from and where in Tennessee did they live before moving to Missouri?
