James Franklin Randolph was born abt. 1857 in Giles Co. TN. He was the son of Carson Randolph & Aley M. Turner. James Franklin Randolph married Martha A. Randolph in Giles Co. TN. on July 22, 1877. They had six ( 6 ) children, one of which was my grandmother, all born in Giles Co. TN. Samuel Carson Randolph born July 22, 1879 Mary Lou Randolph born Sept. 4, 1886 Nancie C. Randolph born 1889 Emma Lee Randolph born July 7, 1892 ( my grandmother ) Ida Belle Randolph born July 7, 1892 Walter Houston Randolph born Feb. 29, 1896 I have been told by many Randolph researchers that only 3 of the children were the children of James & Martha A. and that the other 3 children were of a second marriage ( James F. Randolph & Martha Stafford ) I have not been able to prove this as to yet, as I have copies of death certificates in which the names are always the same, mother's maiden name, Randolph. There was another James F. Randolph in Giles Co. TN. but he was born in 1866. Is there anyone out there that may be able to help. Many Thanks In Advance Robbie
