Excuse me for butting in, but do you mean that the Fitz Randolphs were from the same line as the Randolphs of Virginia? I have a Miriam Randolph born either Dec. or Jan of 1785. She married a Jeptha Billingsley in TN. Don't know who her parents are yet. Can't seem to find anything sold saying who they are. Several generations later they migrated to VA (which later became WV) with their church group "The Seventh Day Baptist." The Seventh Day Baptist originated in NJ as far as I can find out. Some of the NJ Fitz Randolphs later dropped the Fitz. They also migrated of NC and into western PA. There were also Randolphs who landed in VA. from England. The first one was Henry who was later followed by his nephew, William, from whom all the politically active Randolphs descended from. These are the two lines that I know about. Maybe there was another that I don't know about. I looked up the names of William and Nancy but I did not have anything on them. I hope that someone else can help you out. After 4 years I still have a brick wall with my Randolphs and can't seem to get over it, or around , or under it. Once in awhile I think I a loosen a brick but then the mortar doesn't want to give. Good luck with your hunt. Pat of NYS On Tue, 29 Jan 2002 14:32:00 -0500 "Jan Patton" <jpatton@ij.net> writes: > Hello everyone.
