Hello Dick and everyone else, My brick wall is the father of my great great grandmother EMEREGY LAVINIA RANDOLPH. She was born in NY or MA. The 1850 MA census has her born in NY the rest have her born in MA. She married BERIAH CRITTENDON FRISBEE 223 Jul 1830 in Westfield, Hampden Co., MA Now here is my problem: my mother always said that Energy Lavinia's father's name was PETER RANDOLPH. Last year while visiting a cousin, he got out his mother's papers that listed the name as STEPHEN. Last fall I came across a WILLIAM who married a EUNICE HURLBURT in 1811 in Southhampton, Hampshire, MA. Eunice was born and raised in this area. When my great great grandparents were married there was a EUNICE RANDOLPH listed on the census as having two females of the right age to be getting married. I have a feeling that she maybe the right ggggrandmother. Now I am looking for proof of this connection.
