Hi, i am not sure of my relation to the Randolph family. These names were included with many other family names in an old family bible that a relative has. Good Morning, I have the book "Old Sparta & Elba Land Office Records & Millitary Warrants 1822-1860" by Marilyn Davis Hahn On page 137 there is a reference to JEREMIAH RANDOLPH Warrant # 26560 In Favor of JEREMIAH RANDOLPH Section 6 Township 5 Range 20 Date 1/20/1853 Located By Gappa T. Yelverton This is in Section V of the Book - Land Warrant Locations, Sparta--Elba Book 506 "Monthly abstract of locations on unclaimed, unsettled lands subject to private entry at the land office at Sparta, Alabama, on military land warrant certificates issued pursuant to the 9th section of the Act of Congress approved 11th of February 1847 entitled "an act to raise for a limited time an additional military force and for other purposes." Has this Jeremiah Randolph been identified? I am wondering if it is the Jeremiah Randolph (Jasper County, GA > Randolph County, GA > Stewart County, GA) that I am researching. Thanks, Donna Eldridge

thank you for replying. you are more than likely not the right people. my mother, sadie mae johnson(maiden name) was approx. 16 or 17 when i was born. SUPPOSSSSEDLY SHE WAS FROM BRAZIL,MS WHICH IS A FEW MILES OUTSIDE OF CLARKSDALE MS HOWEVER NO ONE KNOWS HEER ROOTS . i am her 2nd child. her first she gave away also. she used to live with an elderly mother of the church in dundee,ms. my parents,rev. j w wilson and bessie wilson asked if they could have me and she replied yes. so here i am--they are both deceased. i have no relatives and i have this hollow place inside cuz i long to know my mother so badly. i did get to meet my father g c brooks who was a married man with 8 kids and 1 on the way when i was born i am a few months older tham his baby. i have made so many attempts to try to locate my mother. i would love to hug her for several minutes just to bond.NO HARD FEELINGS, I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH EVEN THOUGH I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT SHE LOOKED LIKE. i am a black 48 year old female who lived with rev j w willson and bessie wilson in clarksdale,mississippi. i was adopted by them. my biological mother is sadie mae johnson and should be close wo age 65. they think she was about 16 or 17 when i was born. i was her second child. the first child was given away also, however, i have no idea what her name was. she was given to an older lad of my daddy's church. they are now deceased. i only havr 2 kids, ages 25 and 21 and a husband of 24 years. i hope you are my relative. god bless you
