    1. George Washington Randolph, MO, AR
    2. I was wondering if anyone has come across a George Washington Randolph in their search.  He seems to be a dead end for me.  On my records I show he was born in MO, but I am not sure what County.  He was born 12/19/1850 and married to Ellan Langley.  He was living in Arkansas on the 1910 and 1900 census.  I think his father may have been Lee, not sure what it is short for.  He was living next door to George at that time.  Age could have been right for his father. Thanks for any help you can give. Candice

Surnames: Randolph, Halbert Classification: Queries Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HOCBAIB/930 Message Board Post: Help, I'm having trouble with this line of my family tree. My research (Roots Web) shows I am from the Richard Randolph/Jane Bolling line via a daughter Frances Eliz. Randolph. However I just checked a book out of the library "The Randolphs of Virginia" by Jonathan Daniels, and no such daughter is listed. I'm looking for Frances Eliz. Randolph who married John Jones, who had a daughter who married Joel Halbert Sr. I realize one book is not an absolute in researching one's family history, and there are other books on this same subject.

    1. James F. & Martha A. Randolph
    2. James Franklin Randolph was born abt. 1857 in Giles Co. TN. He was the son of Carson Randolph & Aley M. Turner. James Franklin Randolph married Martha A. Randolph in Giles Co. TN. on July 22, 1877. They had six ( 6 ) children, one of which was my grandmother, all born in Giles Co. TN. Samuel Carson Randolph born July 22, 1879 Mary Lou Randolph born Sept. 4, 1886 Nancie C. Randolph born 1889 Emma Lee Randolph born July 7, 1892 ( my grandmother ) Ida Belle Randolph born July 7, 1892 Walter Houston Randolph born Feb. 29, 1896 I have been told by many Randolph researchers that only 3 of the children were the children of James & Martha A. and that the other 3 children were of a second marriage ( James F. Randolph & Martha Stafford ) I have not been able to prove this as to yet, as I have copies of death certificates in which the names are always the same, mother's maiden name, Randolph. There was another James F. Randolph in Giles Co. TN. but he was born in 1866. Is there anyone out there that may be able to help. Many Thanks In Advance Robbie
