Does anyone know who Willia BRYAN on the 1900 census is? She is listed as single and with three children, Roy/Ray, Jessie and Zula. Her neighbor is David and Rachel ARBOGAST who have a 20 year old son named Jesse. I went through the assumption that maybe her maiden name was ARBOGAST but couldn't place her in an ARBOGAST family. Does anyone have any BRYAN(T) family members who married a Willia? Thank you - bj The Hillier Family Homepage - www.hillierfamily.net BJ's Work Homepage - www.scvir.org

Her father was George Wirt Smartt Randolph. The decendancy is as follows: Henry Randolph IV, William Randolph, Isham Randolph, George Wirt Smartt Randolph, Arminta Pocahontas Randolph. Arminta's mother was Rebecca Jane Evans Cole. Arminta is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I don't know if this is where the story starts or not, like you I have never seen any real connection to the "real" Pocahontas.

Washington, and it has always been said in the family that we were descendents of Pocahontas. I understand there was a Pocahontas connection to the Jane Bolling Randolph family, but I don't think that's Edmund's branch. Can someone who has the "Descendents of Pocahontas" book please look up Edmund and tell me if his branch is connected so I can kill this story before it spreads any further if it's not true? Thanks!
