Hello Everyone Has anyone been able to link Abraham Randolph that was born abt. 1760 in North Carolina and died April 29, 1837 in Lawrence Co. Alabama to James Randolph Sr. that was born abt. 1725 in Roanoke County, Virginia and died in Caswell County, North Carolina ? Some of the Children of this James Randolph Sr. seemed to have relocated to Pulaski County, KY. I am interested in any Randolph info, but my main focus is Abraham Randolph & Lydia Dill. My great grandfather, James Franklin Randolph was the great grandson of Abraham & Lydia. James Franklin Randolph was the son of Carson P. Randolph & Aley M. Turner. Carson P. Randolph was the son of James A. Randolph & Abigail Alexander Randolph. James A. Randolph was the son of Abraham Randolph & Lydia Dill. Many Thanks In Advance Robbie
Hello Everyone I am somewhat confussed on my Randolph family, and maybe there is someone on the list who may be able to help me out or at least give me some advice. In 1850 in Giles County, Tennessee Dist. NO. 10 James Randolph age 47 born in S.C. Abigail age 45 born in AL. William age 20 born in TN. Sally J. age 18 born in TN. James age 15 born in TN. Stephenson age 14 born in TN. Lafayette age 13 born in TN. Susan A. age 12 born in TN. Columbus age 9 born in TN. In 1860 Giles County, Tennessee Bradshaw James Randolph age 57 born in AL. Nancy age 40 born in TN Peter age 25 born in TN. Lafayette age 22 born in TN. Susan A. age 19 born in TN. Columbus N. age 15 born in TN. In 1870 Giles County, Tennessee Dist. 10 Bradshaw James Randolph age 69 born in S.C. Nancy age 59 born in KY. Lafayette age 33 born in TN. Mary M. age 24 born in TN. Susan A. age 7 born in TN. Nancy J. age 5 born in TN. James H. age 1 born in TN. I am no rocket scientist by no means, & I am aware that even some info on various census' can be wrong. I know that after the death of Abigail Alexander Randolph, that James Randolph married Nancy, however what I cannot make out is the fact that Peter Randolph listed as age 25 in 1860, was not even listed on the 1850's. I am guessing that since there is a big age difference between Susan A. in the 1860's and the Susan A. listed in the 1870's...that these are 2 different Susan A. Randolph's. If anyone is researching this line, has info, or advice, I sure would like to hear from you. Robbie
