Cindi, More confusion. The information I have on Jacob Remy coming to America in 1654 pretty well fits the information others have on him. Also, his first wife died at sea and his second wife was Mary Miles. I also have information that says he came to America as an indentured servant. I have the name of the nobleman he was indentured to but will have to look it up if anyone is intersted. I also have a birth date for him as 1640. Which would have made him only 14 when he came over. That is possible and young children were sonetimes indentured servants. That still happenes today in some countries. However, would a fourteen year old have a wife. I have a fourteen year old son who is married to his CD player. If any one on the list can help me with this, please let me know. I promise not to talk about Ancient Egypt. I am a direct decendent of this Jacob, as is most of us here. Cindi, if he is your ancestor too, it's just a matter of time before the Ramey madness sets in. Good luck.
