Hi all... I am new to this list...& don't know if I belong here yet. My husband's name is REMAI pronounced Ramey. His family migrated from Austria, Hungary in early 1900's. The spelling is no doubt corrupted. Don't know what the correct spelling is. Some family members spell it Ramey, Ramie, & of course Remai. Any help would be appreciated. I'll just sort of lurk around reading messages if everyone doesn't mind. Sure need a clue where to start on this name. Ship records no doubt. The family settled in Ohio.
