I have been doing some serious research about Jeannie being a Ramey related to Joan of Arc. From what I have been able to find out. Joan of Arc's mother was not a Ramey but a a Sidenstucker who was the sister of a woman who married a Captain of a garbage ship that got lost at sea and ended up in America. The Captain disembarked and came to Virginia. There he had a daughter who married an Indian medicine man named Young Man Afraid of Bugs. His father was Old Man Afraid of Bugs. They had a child who married into the Ramey family and moved to Ohio with the Rameys in 1807. A son was born who went to France in search of his ancestory and married Mable Sidenstucker, who was a descendent of Joan of Arc's mother. One of their children, Arc, named after Joan, came to America looking for his ancestry. He married an Indian named Young Woman Afraid of Young Man Afraid of Bugs, and they had a daughter who married another Ramey. Jeannie is descendent of this line of Rameys who do go back to Joan of Arc via scared Indians, lost garbage ships and what have you. Maybe she is a Saint after all.
