I finally discovered something about Marchioness de Busancy, the ancestor of George Remy's wife. Marchioness is not a first name. It is the title given to a woman who is the widow of a marquis. A marquis is a nobleman with a rank just below that of a duke. I wonder what is considered higher, duke or count. Jim, my mother use to watch "Queen for a Day" all the time. Does that count for anything? No. I didn't think so. Lois Arthur in Indiana [email protected]
