It has been proven to the satisfaction of most that Eleanor was in actuality Eleanor McCarty.She was married to the William Remy/Ramey of Floyd Co KY. The Wm. Ramey in Dr. Remy's book that Jeannie mentions was married to Anna Samlins, I do think. That portion of the book is one of the most glaring errors Dr. Remy wrote. I do appreciate his efforts tho.
