Hi, I see your Stephen Ramey was originally from Scott Co VA. I am also trying to find a Clayton Ramey born sometime in the early 1800's believe in Scott county. I can't seem to find a trace of him. He is believed to be the father of my great grandfather John Ramey who was born 1842. Mother of John was Kate Gibson born 1822. John went by the name Gibson till he was a teenager. John was illegitimate. If you know anything about Clayton Ramey or Kate Gibson please contact me.
