Bethany, Bessie was not married to 3 different men. Bessie Ramey was married to Effort Wilbanks only. The grandmother you are referring to is your greaat great Granny Eliza Jane Wilbanks Pointer Smith.....grandpa Effort's mother. She has been my Wilbanks roadblock so you and I need to get together and talk. I have a little bit of info but not much.
