To add to the discussion of sources and origins, we should clarify that Dr. Rhamey credits this information to "Jean Geoffrey Petrick, genealogist of the Institute Heraldique et Genealogique of Paris" on p. 12 of his book. The question would be whether any of Petrick's research remains intact or available. Someone on the list was in touch with Dr. Rhamey's grandson to get permission to reproduce the book. Perhaps the same route could be taken to learn whether any of the original research survived.
