Listers, The 25th annual RAMEY reunion will meet at the Fish Pond picnic shelter on Elkhorn Creek. Located 1 mile from Elkhorn City, Pike County, Kentucky on September 3, 2000. Registaration will begin at 11:00 AM. Basket dinner will begin at 1:00 PM. Auction will be at 3:00 PM. Please bring a picnic basket and an auction item. Auctions are held each year to raise money for monuments to identify graves of ancestors marked with sandstone or no markers at all. Funds from past auctions have purchased monuments for Willam and Anna Samlins Ramey, Moses and Jane Fuller Ramey and Daniel and Lucinda Carty Ramey. Last year the reunion attracted over 200 Ramey descendents. Thats a heap of Rameys. A good time was had by all. Please bring pictures, history and stories to share with us. HAZEL R.
