YES....my father, Raleh Ramey, was born in New Jersey, the son of Charles, born in Virginia about 1866, and Anna Walker, born in Penn., about 1869.....there was a prior marrage for Charles that we know only that he had children that were older that my aunt Lydia, who was born in 1900, who was my fathers only sibbling that we ever met, but he had spoke of older sibblings, that were grown when he was born. Daddy was born in 1909, in Salem, New Jersey. Aunt Lydia was married to Russell Walker, and they lived in Penn., where he worked for a newspaper in Terranum, and we believe she died about 1990, with one surviving granddaughter...my grandfather, Charles Ramey was a Harnes maker, and grandmother, Anna Walker Ramey was a homemaker....these are what we know, except that my father also had another family, where I had 1/2 brothers and sisters, who mainly lived in Texas. I did not know most of them, and saddly, my 1/2 brother Charles and my 1/2 sister Clita have passed on, leaving Anna, who we have not been able to locate, Her married name is Lankston. Mary, My Ramey's are Daniel + Dicy Hall, Jacob Ramey + Sarah Blevins, et al. Daniel and Dicy are the parents of my great grandmother Mariah Allis (Alice) Ramey that married Benjamin Bates s/o William Bates + Eleanor (Nelly) Hall. Ben and Allis married in Wise, Val in 11-1888 and completely disappeared until two of their children show up in 1900 Knott Co. KY census living with Hall's. I have no idea where the rest of the family was. I have searched everywhere.
