Okay Lois, Your wear your Outback hat with the feather. I shall wear by 10 gallon Stetson with a rattlesnake hat band. I hope these qualify as great ancestors: Note-no Reamys naturally. A husband poisoning his wife in GA. Ancestor murdered by neighbor in TX for playing a pratical joke. Three husbands of the only three daughters of the family-all died very unnaturally-in Tx again. This is my greatest ancestor and the dumbest: Sold Coca Cola patent in GA. So there, Lois ! Talk about great ancestors-my hat runeth over. ____ Marsil in the Land of UFO's, Aliens, and weather balloons.
Marsil, You win. Your ancestors really outdid mine. I am impressed. If you want, I will send you the feather from my outback hat, but I'm keeping the hat. I joined the list right at the time of the CD problem. I never did know what it was all about. I guess that someone wanted to sell a CD of The Ramey Book and didn't follow through. Anyway, if there is a way of getting a copy of the book without getting beaten up or something, please let me know. By the way Marsil, have you gotten a good look at Elizabeth Taylor lately? Ran Jenny/Jane thru -came up with one Jenny-born about 1900. Too young? They lived in IL. No Fredrick Rose. Do know a Rose researcher tho.-Want his email address? ____ Marsil in the Land of UFO's, Aliens, and weather balloons.
Hi Beverly, I ran my database on your names-except Mary Ramey-I would have been here all night on Mary Ramey. The only possibility I came up with is: Jacob Ramey and wife Elizabeth Lloyd of Frederick Co VA; married in 2/2/1803; had a daughter named Malinda-no dates on Malinda. Good luck ____ Marsil in the Land of UFO's, Aliens, and weather balloons.
Why would you want to do that I look forward to your remarks... they brighten things up... :) Were you the one who ask me about the Hall obit? Marsil, I strongly feel that I should be the one to wear the crown. however, since neither one of us have a crown to wear, we might as well wear something else. I have an old Outback hat with a feather in the band, I'll wear that. I also have that regal look, just down right stately. After all, I have other wonderful ancestors besides the Rameys. One of my Deadmond ancestors was actually hanged back in 1863. I'll bet none of the Rameys were hung. I am so proud. I have a Parish ancestor who left Illinois in the middle of the night, and fled all the way to northern Indiana to escape bad debts and bill collectors. I'll bet your ancestors didn't do anything like that. hump. Have a good night. Your a great sport. Lois Arthur Indiana
I also have a Hanks connection. This Hanks connection also has an Asbury connection thru Henry and Mary Durant Asbury. She is looking for info on Dorcas FRENCH. Dorcas's mother was a French and her father was an ASBURY. They were not married. Dorcas b. Jan 11, 1836 VA died 1907 Wolfe Co KY; married James Brooks in Wolfe Co KY. Does anyone have any info on the Asburys that would help? Lois: Truly amazing ! We obviously are talking to the same people. Yes, Lois. Just today someone commented on the fact that it was extremely difficult to tell the difference between me and Liz. I, however, was told this by FOUR people today. I should wear the crown. Besides it would look much better on me than you. I have that Reamy regal look. You know the one, "If you don't go away and leave me alone, I shall throw my crown at you." ____ Marsil in the Land of UFO's, Aliens, and weather balloons.
Now Jeannie. Bob Wright was an undercover agent for the CIA-known as a mole. Hencefore he shall be referred to simply as "mole". Mole has been recalled to be sanctioned in the truest meaning of the word. Mole's ashes have been scattered via helicopter over Westmoreland , Richmond, Loudoun-heck, all over VA. With any luck whatsoever, mole's ashes will be washed into the soil where he will at last be doing something good for Mother Earth. ____ Marsil in the Land of UFO's, Aliens, and weather balloons.

You kats are getting way out there :-) A little while after "The Mole" dissappeared, many of the lists were sent a message about a new pay-for-census site. No company info or way to contact them (cash only please ! (ha)). I wonder if this is legit, or if it is "The Mole" scamming a broader audience since the last one netted him some green. Here is the URL if you want to take a look: http://www.allcensus.com . If anyone knows this to be a legitimate buisness, (ie: they return a product for money) let me know and I will quit being so suspicious. Perhaps some of us listowners should have Brian warn all the lists. Ciao ! J.D.
