Thanks Christena, Vicki who posts on the list-Reamy-has a Crow she is trying to find info on. She will see this, I do imagine. Maybe she can do something with it. Hope so, then she can send it to me. Lot less work that way. ____ Marsil in the Land of UFO's, Aliens, and weather balloons.
Hi I have decided that all branches of my family came from outer space. I had heard on TV that people were finding thing about themselves on the internet that they didn't think should be on there, so being the curious cat that I am I decided to do a people search on myself. Now take note I have had the same address and telephone number for about 18 years, but I could not find me anywhere in the people search. Thanks for offering to copy part of your Ramey book for me. Actually, I pretty well know all of the names and dates for my Ramey ancestors. I don't know what color of socks they were wearing on Christmas of 1865, but that doesn't manner. What I was intersted in were pictures. My ancestors were John Ramey and Edith Browning, Alexander Ramey and Elizabeth Cooke and Joseph Parish and Kaziah Ramey. Would it be possible to copy these pictures, if there are any of these people. I would pay for the expenses of course. Thanks. Lois Arthur Indiana [email protected]
Actually, I find much of what is being posted as generally clever and entertaining. However, opening and making sure these posting don't have some genealogy information takes a lot of time away from the research I thought this list was for. Don't misunderstand, I find the humor and banter witty. But, could more of it be done directly with individuals instead of to the list? I hope no one takes this personally. I am merely trying to contribute my thoughts and suggestions. Jim
Hi Marsil Thanks for the address. The Crow line that I know of were in MO. so there could easily have been connected to OK. I think that I meant to say that I would not mind copying some parts of the book if someone needed it. I am sorry if I did not state that clearly. I have the same line as Marsil, and have copied that part, except the French part because I could not figure it out. I will go back to Los Angeles in October. It is a huge book, and this copy was typewritten, with hand drawings. I don't know how anyone could copy it for twenty-five dollars, and that proves something to me. I just feel bad about people who do this to others. I guess they were born without a consious. Vicki
