    3. LaVonne, It sounds like you are in the right place. Your name is surely a corruption of Remi/Ramey. What part of Ohio did your Remai Family settle? My Rameys came from Virginia to Muskingum County, Ohio and then into Union County, Ohio. They came into the state in 1807 by covered wagon. You will probably get a lot of help on this mailing list. These people really know their Rameys. They have a pretty extensive history of the family. Good luck. If... you and the others send out a copy of your pages with the corrections penciled in with where the proofs could be located then that should take care of it... I can go along with that too. Since just Vicki and I represent the REAMY spelling of the name-begins with Joshua b. ca 1847 son of Asbury-I will offer to copy and send those pages. One question: Do we want it scanned exactly as is? Maybe that is not what I mean -do we want somewhere in this process to correct any proven errors? Probably not-wouldn't be the book, huh? Maybe a warning of some kind at the beginning about checking for errors. Sound like a plan to me. Let me know where and where. Any more takers? .......Okay Saint, what about Notradomus? Who who was Jewish and his mother was a Remy? Do you feel a prediction coming on? I predict that you do. 1. [RAMEY-L] Thanks for Information
    2. Lois Arthur
    3. Thanks to all of you who sent information on the title of the Ramey Book. for my book search. Also, I have heard of the Amazon online book store but never thought of it. If Wilma can get copies of the book, I will get one of those instead of waiting for a book search. I will let the mailing list know what the book search comes up with, however, if anything. Ok, having said that, now to serious stuff. I don't think that Rameys are related to red headed Celtics. My Arthurs probably were. They were all red headed until about the turn of the century when my husband's grandfather married a Black Foot Sioux Indian called Applebug. Now they are all wild, black headed Arthurs. Thanks to the Ramey bloodline in my ancestory, I have been able to tame this wild streak by producing a handsome, perfect son who is now at that wonderful age of 14. My husband in in the background laughing uncontrolably I can't imagine what is wrong with him. I think all of us with Ramey genes can create a much better world and thus live in tolerance of those of us who talk about such things on the mailing list. Am I right, or what? I'm sorry. Jeannie, Shirley and Marsil are to blame for my behavior. Lois Arthur in Indiana [email protected]
