This entry of Virgin Virginia Adeline (Sizemore) Rainwater is the wife of William James Rainwater, son of Elkaney L. and Mary Matilda (Burrow)Rainwater. They had 2 children; John Henry bn 2 Mar 1878 and Mary Jane bn 13 Aug 1881.Wm died 7 Jan 1882. John H. md 9 Dec 1896 to Willie B "Mollie"Adkins and they had 4 children. Mary Jane md 27 Jan 1898 to William Martain Roberts;they had 2 children. Mary Jane died 27 Oct 1904 and Virginia raised the 2 children. She applied for a band # under the Sizemore name which was Indian-in order to help her raise the children.
