A spam mail got through to some of the suname lists. Apparently it has not found us here at Rainwater. Rootsweb technical services is working to block any further intrusion into their system. Should a SPAM appear on Rainwater I will see it immediately -- no need to tell me about it. Use your delete button to good advantage. Samples of the sending addresses looked like these.... << Subj: {not a subscriber} Secrets from Magic Psychics Date: 01/28/1999 From: htlvbdvemvhoeqkn@hotbot.com To: edabqjijttjisbwx@hotbot.com You see the spammer set up some sort of loop mailing from hotbot.com back thru hotbot.com. The header tracking record then reported "Client Unknown" when a tracer report was requested. The operators/owners of the ISP hotbot.com now have a big problem. Regards, Bob Schimmel. listowner
