Hi to all the Cuz's.......Just read a post from Ron in which he mentioned a Rainwater Reunion in Arkansas......Wish to add to that the Annual Rainwater Reunion at Somerset, Pulaski, KY which is held on the third saturday in August each year at the Pulaski County Park......The Park has a number of covered "Shelters" and may change from shelter to shelter as reservations are made each year........Hosted by a group of my actual First Cousins, the reunion normall draws about 250 people from at least 22 states.......Sort of a hometown "potluck" but if from out of state they will accept things like chips/dip, canned goods, store bought salads etc......or soft drinks...Ohhhh, BTW Pulaski is a dry County and is unlawful to have the hard stuff in the park......... Hope some of you may attend in future years. I will post next years calendar of events during the summer.......... My '98 reunion notice: "We just about blew it this year, our brains left our bodies, but never you fear. When preparing the reunion we missed one small thing, To call for a Shelter, for our big August fling. But never you worry and please don't fret, Cause we've got Shelter #7 and now we're all set. It will still be mid August and right about noon, On the 15th Day and that's pretty soon. So, pack up your baskets and fill them with food, Come with your pictures and a really good mood. We can't wait to see you at the Pulaski County Park, We'll have fun just talking and visitin' 'till dark.
