Countied included are: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Chester, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, Union, and York. These counties were the 96 District before counties were formed (or Indian terr.) The society publishes a quarterly newsletter and meets once a month at the Spartanburg County Library.
