Susan, I have seen this before.  There is some detail about this in book on Rev Richard Phillips who married Delilah Rainwater by Eloise Groover Lovell. Should be in the GA Archives.  This is from something printed in the 1880s detailing the most prominent Baptist ministers during the first 40 years of the Southern Baptist Church.  It appeared in several of the annual minutes of the Hightower Association and the Chattahoochee Association and evenually in the BAPTIST LEADER. Mrs Lovell (now deceased) gives a good account of this in a chapter of her book and more can be found at the library at Mercer University in Macon, GA/  Believe both Job and James Rainwater were mentioned.  Of course, there were two James who were preachers of some renown.  JAMES AND JAMES E. RAINWATER.  James E. was the brother of my ggg- gf, GABRIEL RAINWATER.  They were the sons of LEVI RAINWATER. Hope I have been of some help.
