Hi, folks - This is to let you know that we've written a new filter for HTML messages on RootsWeb lists. Instead of bouncing all HTML messages as we've done for the last year or so, the new filter just converts the HTML to plain text. List admins don't have to do anything special; the filters are already enabled. This change ought to result in less mail getting bounced unnecessarily from your lists and fewer confused subscribers. I'd like to take this moment to acknowledge the important part that Netscape Communications played in developing this software.
