The Ancestral file and IGI in the LDS (familysearch.org) archives are huge and can supply lots of clues because you can bring up AREAS of search all over the world. But just remember that the information therein is only as good as the people who submitted it. Often they have NOT been thorough researchers, so consequently you need to supplement what you find there, with research of your own. It is a great tool, but please don't believe every family connection you find. Assumptions have often been the easy path. Annie
