Hal, The Rainwater store is located in Rex, Clayton Co., GA. It is about 5 miles from my home in Jonesboro, GA. Is was first opened by Clinton Rainwater who is my ggguncle. The store was sold to somebody outside the Rainwater family a few years ago....but is still operated as "The Rainwater Store". When I first moved into this county 30 years ago, people would ask me if I am related to the Rainwater store people. At the time I didn't know and found that I am within the last 5 years when my aunt and I started researching our family. Good to hear from you.
