    3. Hi Robert, I've been going through my files and have found a curious thing. Matthew Rainwater-bn 19 Oct 1815- and his wife Mahala Jane Snapp were also in Johnson Co.,Ill about the same time. Their sons Abraham B and Samuel were bn there in 1846 and 1848 respectively. Also there at the same time period was Anne Rainwater who had md Burrell Henderson Wright. 3 of their 8 ch were bn in Johnson Co.Ill. Burrell and Anne moved to Madison Co,Ark then Wn Co.,Ark the same time that Matthew and his family moved back there. Matthew's older ch were bn Sevier Co.,Tn-the same Co., that Moses Fowler R moved from.Benjamin F.-son of Matthew md in Wn Co.,Ark and is bur in Wn Co.,Ark. I think all these older Rainwater ch are going to be the ch of the older Moses Rainwater who moved to Tn from NC with his large brood of children.Moses is age over 40 and under 50 on the 1830 census (Sevier Co.,Tn). He's age over 60 and under 70 on the 1840 census. He still has 1 male 15-20 and 1 female 5-10;2 females 15-20;1 female 20-30; and 1 female 50-60 in his household on the 1840. He is not on the 1850 census. His family was not there on the 1820 census,either-which means they moved there between the 1820 and 1830 census. The old story-"the courthouse burned" makes it difficult to trace their movements. We know the family went in different directions because of the many different decendant lines we're finding. Hope I haven't thoroughly confused you. I just wanted to bring this forward to the group and maybe they have some ideas. Glidie -----Original Message----- From: Robert P.
