He married Maude Love Rainwater on 21 Jan 1928. She was the daughter of Bertram A.Rainwater and May Belle Petree. Maude was born 10 May 1908 in St.Louis,Mo. Bertram and Maude had 4 children: Dorothy May Rainwater-bn19 Nov 1905-St.Louis,Mo-md R.W.McCay 12 Dep 1925 Maude Love Rainwater-bn 10 May 1908-St.Louis,Mo-md R.H.Folmar Alice Clay Rainwater-bn 8 May 1911-St.Louis,Mo Virginia Ellen Rainwater-bn 23 July 1916-St.Louis,Mo-md Terrel Crow 3 Apr 1935.
