Hi Glidie - yes, I'm about a third cousin to Lyle, I think. There are a lot of Rainwaters in Western Washington and Oregon. My grandmother, Mary Catherine came across the plains from Missouri twice - the second time when the railroad was brand new! Her father was Jacob C., his father James (md. Delilah Kifer), and his father, James (md. Nancy Reagan). I have a wonderful Reagan (O'Ragan) book compiled by Donald B. Reagan - very thorough. He and his mother searched censuses for over 30 years to put it together.
