Cathy, You may want to try Pinkney F. Rainwater as possible brother to your Susan. Pinkney frequently shows up in land records in many counties around Atlanta in the mid-1800's. His father was Job Rainwater, and my records show two older sisters to Pinkney that I haven't identified yet, but both were born prior to 1810. I don't show a sister for Pinkney who was born around 1815. Pinkney was born around 1812 in SC.
