    3. From a magazine of Albemarle Co., VA - history of Midmont....Dr. Barringer went to see another student who was rooming at the University. He wasn't in, but his roommate answered the door and introduced himself as Cloud Rainwater. "Was your father Indian?" asked young Barringer. "No, a damned fool," answered young Rainwater, "My sister's name is Dew." In later research, indeed there was a Cloud Rainwater, son of Capt. James (1837), son of Pinkney (1812), son of Solomon (1765) son of James (1734) and Catherine Regan. Also, in the LDS International Genealogical Index, I found a woman named Sunflower Rainwater, who married a man named Plante! So her married name would be Sunflower Rainwater Plante!
